Why We Ride

Welcome to Ride Against CRC!

Ride Against CRC emerged from a heartfelt initiative by Spencer, a determined Stage IV colorectal cancer fighter and ambassador for Fight Colorectal Cancer (FightCRC). This event is not just a motorcycle ride; it's a movement towards ending colorectal cancer in our lifetime. Each year, we gather riders and supporters in the Livermore area to share in the thrill of the ride and the common goal of combating this disease.

Our Inspiration:
Spencer’s journey began with his diagnosis in 2019, followed by periods of remission and recurrence, culminating in his current fight as a terminal patient. His resilience and dedication have inspired us to come together, ride together, and fight together against colorectal cancer.

What We Do:
The Ride Against CRC is more than just an annual event; it's a community rally point. Participants enjoy a scenic ride through the Livermore area, starting and ending at East Bay Harley-Davidson. The day begins with registration and meet-ups, followed by the ride, which includes lunch and a commemorative item to mark the occasion.

Our Mission:
All proceeds from our event go directly to FightCRC, a leading advocacy organization that empowers patients, funds critical research, and influences health policy. The funds raised help support high-impact research projects and educational programs tailored to the needs of younger onset patients, with a vision to see an end to this disease within our lifetimes.

Join Our Cause:
Whether you're a seasoned rider or a supporter cheering from the sidelines, your involvement makes a significant difference. By participating in Ride Against CRC, you're not just enjoying a day out on the open road; you're part of a larger fight for hope, life, and ultimately, a cure for colorectal cancer.

Let's gear up to end colorectal cancer, one ride at a time!
